왜 기존 ODS 컬럼은 큰 분자에 약한가
최근 의약품은 구조가 복잡해지고 있고, 일부는 분자량이 1,000 Da를 넘는 경우도 있습니다. 이처럼 큰 분자는 기존 ODS 컬럼 (Pore size 10~15nm)에서 잘 분리되지 않습니다. 좁은 기공을 통과하기 어렵기 때문에 피크 모양이 흐려지고 분리 성능도 떨어지며, 작은 기공에서는 엔드캡핑도 충분히 이루어지지 않아 잔존 실라놀의 영향이 커지는 것도 원인입니다.
